Tennis: GTF executives present trophies to Director General of NSA

A delegation from the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 called on the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA) Prof Peter Twumasi to present medals won at the West and Central Africa ITF/CAT Junior Tennis championship.

According to TenolfSportsGhana, the President of GTF, Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah, who led the delegation, briefed the NSA boss of the achievements of the U-12 and U-14 teams during the Sub-regional championship this year.
The U-14 boys team won silver medal while the U-12 boys team grabbed gold to make it three successive wins in three years.
The U-12 girls team also won silver medal which was their best performance in the last five years.
GTF President, Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah, took the opportunity to inform the NSA Boss of the upcoming TFG/ITF World Junior Circuit 5 to be hosted by Ghana from April 1 to 14.
For his part, Prof Twumasi, congratulated the team for raising the flag of Ghana high at the championship. He further thanked the GTF executives and parents for their diverse contributions to help players show case their talents on the continent. 
the NSA Boss pledged his outfit's support to the federation in the upcoming international event and urged them to keep up the good work.
Present at the event were the Secretary General of GTF, Philipina Frimpong, Head of Technical Team, Mr Noah Bagerbaseh, Tournament Coordinator, Yakubu Lea, coaches Richard Ayi Dartey and Henry Quansah as well as representatives from Tenolf Sports Ghana.
