Tennis: Golden Rackets in Congo for 2019 Davis Cup

The Golden Rackets left Ghana for Congo on Monday

Ghana’s senior national tennis team, Golden Rackets on Monday left Accra for Brazaville for the 2019 Africa Zone IV Davis Cup which starts from June 25 to 30.

The team was made up of coach Fredrick Egyir and players Isaac Nortey, Herman Abban Junior, Benjamin Palm and Johnson Acquah.

The team had been training at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Courts for a month under the tutelage of coach Noah Bagerbaseh and Richard Ayi Dartey.

Ghana has been drawn in Group Four alongside Cameroon, Rwanda, Botswana, Congo,Uganda and Gabon

The Ghanaian team will lodge at Grand Hotel de Kintele in Brazzaville.
