Central Region-based Young Sharks and Marine Stars have qualified for the 2019 CalBank Beach Soccer Super League scheduled for December 1 at the Laboma Beach Resort in Accra.

They joined Western Region’s Shama Beach Soccer Club and Jomoro Beach Soccer Club, who qualified from their region a fortnight ago.

Young Sharks and Marine Stars picked the two slots allocated to the Central Region after emerging winners and runners-up respectively at the Central Regional Beach Soccer League held at the Oasis Beach at Cape Coast on Sunday.

While Young Sharks emerged winners of the four-team competition with eight points after recording eight goals, Marine Stars finished second with five points.

Contenders Sea Rovers accumulated three points while Sea Sailors failed to pick a point after they conceded eight goals.

The four-team regional league will continue in the Volta region on November 16 and 17 and in the Greater Accra Region on November 23 and 24 before the two top teams from each region will converge in Accra in December for the Super Cup at the Laboma Beach Resort.
