Police to battle Fire Service in volleyball league

The battle for supremacy returns this weekend at the various volleyball courts in Accra, in the ongoing Greater Accra Volley Ball Association (GAVA) League.

The week 24 fixtures hope to be an interesting encounter as 14 teams faces each other in mouth-watering games. The police team, who are the league leaders with 46 points, will play the Fire Service team in an outstanding game at the Accra sports stadium.

 Ebenezer Golden Hands club who are languishing at the bottom of the league table with just 4 points would be playing with Immanuel Presby, at the Sakumono volleyball court. The Model club, who lost their last game over the weekend, will come face to face with the Prisons volleyball team, at the Lebanon House.

Blue skies of Dobro will host  EL -Wak  Wings at the Dobro volleyball court ,while at the  Town Council  Line  volley ball  court ,  the  pairings is between the AirForce volleyball club and  the Town Council Line Volleyball club aiming at the points at stake.

The Accra sports stadium will be the venue of attraction as the final game of day kicks off between the Fire service volley ball team and the La Pioneers volleyball club, as the La team will try to pick up the three maximum points to cushion them from the 13th position of the league log. Seven games will be honoured this weekend at the various volleyball court centres in Accra
