The Board of Directors and management of Dreams Football Club have sent their condolences to Ebusua Dwarfs and the family of the late Edward Nana Aidoo who died on Monday, June 18, in the United States.
Last Wednesday, some Premier League clubs, including Medeama Sporting Club and International Allies, took to their official websites to express their condolences to Dwarfs, as well as the family of the deceased.
A statement signed by the Administrative Manager of Dreams FC, Ameenu Shardow, read: “We wish to send our heartfelt condolences to the Ebusua Dwarfs family over the passing of your Chief Executive Officer, Nana Aidoo.”
“This unpleasant news was received with enormous shock, particularly during the turbulent times our industry finds itself. Nana Aidoo was a true football person who dedicated his priceless time, intellect and resources towards the enhancement of the sport,” it added.
“His death, therefore, comes as huge loss to the football fraternity but we are, however, comforted with the hope that his good deeds are well rewarded with a place in the bosom of the Almighty,” the statement added.
Nana Aidoo was the backbone and financier of Ebusua Dwarfs since their return to the elite league a few seasons ago.
His passing is a major blow for the club and the entire football fraternity.
