Former Hearts of Oak striker, Cosmos Dauda is disgusted by the publication of a blatant falsehood linking him to Jordanian club, Al-Faisaly.
Report went viral yesterday that the 24-year-old player had penned a two-year deal with the Jordanian side after he mutually terminated his contract with the Rainbow club early this season.
But in what appeared to be a surprised publication to the attacker, who scored 14 goals for the Accra-based club two seasons ago, took to twitter to express disbelieve over the publication describing it as false.
“This is false… feed the masses with authentic information…thank you” Dauda twitted together with the full publication of the story that was with a picture of him holding a pen behind some pieces of papers ostensibly ready to sign a contract.
According to the publication the deal was brokered by a Ghanaian football agent Nana Kwarteng and his agency Sport Light Consult and the companying picture suggested the Cosmos was in the company of the agent.
However, the once lethal striker, who registered his disappointment over the publication, challenged the media outfit to ensure they desist from misinforming the public and always feed their audience with authentic news stories.
Dauda who parted ways with Hearts of Oak after the club claimed his performance was below their expectation, is now a free agent and was yet to commit to any club.
