Coach of Premier League side, Ashantigold SC, Charles Kwablah Akonnor, have been asked to step aside by the club for failing to resume to work for the first team.
Coach Akonnor was expected at Obuasi at the start of this week to continue his duties following a brief break by the club but failed to make it for the first team's training on Monday, June 25.
The former Dreams FC trainer's inability to inform the club about his decision not to report for their training infuriated the club who decided to suspend him indefinitely.
Tension between Akonnor and the leadership of the club has been on the rise especially after the coach publicly disagreed the signing of striker Saddick Adams who later left for Libya.
It is understood that the ex-Black Stars skipper may quit his role at the club soon to pursue further training in coaching abroad.
