Ivorian Koko Ange N'guessan won the Woman of The Match award in their opening Group A match against Togo in the ongoing WAFU Zone B Tournament at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan.
The 28-year old playmaker was phenomenal in their 5-0 mauling of the Togolese as she scored the fourth goal of the game to help her side seal the victory.
Tokpoledo Rolande opened the score line on the 10th minute before Diakite Binta and Cuosso Esperance Agbo added their names to the score sheet in the 30th and 37th minutes respectively.
Koko Ange, who currently plays for Primier División club UDG Tenerife in Abidjan, added the fourth goal just eight minutes into the second half before Kouadio Adjoua Sandrine made it five for the host nation.
She was part of the Ivorian squad for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada and she came to the limelight after scoring against Norway in a 3–1 defeat at the World Cup.
Cote d’Ivoire now top the Group A table ahead of Ghana due to goal advantage.
They will play their next game against Senegal on Friday before meeting Ghana in their final group fixture on Monday, May 13.
