Queens return home from Zambia, Kenya tour

The national senior female team, Black Queens have returned to the country after their tour of Southern and Eastern Africa where they played friendly games with their Zambian and Kenyan counterparts.

The Queens were met on arrival earlier today by a member of the FIFA/government of Ghana Normalisation Committee, Naa Odofoley Nortey before departing to the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, where they will be lodging during their campaign in the Total Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

They will take on the Bayana Bayana of South Africa in a friendly on Sunday, November 11, at the renovated Accra Sports Stadium to round up their preparations for the tournament which will start from November 17 and end on December 1.
