French moneybags Paris Saint Germain has offered Kylian Mbappe a new contract in their aim to wade of a looming interest from Real Madrid.
A report from Le Parisien claims that Real Madrid has not only made signing Mbappé a priority next summer but has also allotted €300 million to be able to afford the Frenchman with the fee expected to increase should there be more than one club interested in his services.
The same tabloid claims that the Emir of Qatar considers the status of Mbappé a “personal affair” and considers him leaving PSG “out of the question.”
The looming interest in the summer, according to Le Parisien, has forced PSG to offer Mbappé an impressive new contract that is on par with his teammate Neymar, who according to Goal, makes €700,000 a week or €36.8 million a year.
The offer was to convince the World Cup winner to remain in Paris with his previous handlers admitting that he was level headed and was always open to listening to his leaders.
Previously, former AS Monaco vice-president confirmed that Mbappé turned down a chance to join Real Madrid in 2017 because he felt it was too early, but the club President this week fueled speculations by saying that Mbappe had told him that he was interested in moving to Madrid.
The uncertainty surrounding Mbappe's future at PSG is pinned by the club’s inability to win the Champions League.
