Atletico midfielder, Thomas Partey, is ready to see out his contract with the Spanish club despite interest from some English Premier League giants.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are the premier league giants who have expressed their determination to price the player with €50m buy-out clause out of Madrid.
But the former Tema Youth player who has his umbilical cord linked to the Spanish club has refused to be excited by the interest and has expressed his unwillingness to exit the La liga.
“I’ve grown up with Atléti and I am sure I will stay here,” he told Cadena COPE.
“I don’t know of another place that will understand how I play like they do here.”
However, the 25-year-old was quoted to have said that the premiership would be an ideal destination for him to play considering the kind of top players and the competitive nature of the league.
“The Premier League is a good league, it’s very competitive and has some of the best players in the world. Hopefully, one day. I would like to play there.”
This is a complete departure from the previous stands of the player who has made 37 appearances this season, who has now said he has no intention of swapping life in Spain for the Premier League.
