Normalisation committee appoints Ethics Committee, Prosecutors

The ethics committee is one of the GFA's key sub-committees in the administration of the game

The Normalisation Committee (NC) of the Ghana Football Association has named a high court judge, Justice Samuel Kwame Asiedu, to head a five-member ethics committee.

A private legal practitioner, Dr Frederick Boamah, will be the vice-chairman.

A press release by the GFA on Wednesday named other members of the committee as David A. Asiedu, Miss Nabeela Wahab, Bright Okyere-Adjekum, all legal practitioners.

Ms Wahab is a Principal State Attorney with the Attorney General’s Department, Mr Sarpong works with G.A Sarpong & Co, while Mr Asiedu is from ENS Africa.

The ethics committee is one of many key sub-committees of the FA and will play a key role in the administration of football and also deal with ethical issues brought before it.

The NC also appointed three other prosecutors to the Ethics Committee, comprising Superintendent Alexander Odonkor, Superintendent Solomon Korli and Miss Wilhelmina Quist-Therson.
