Manchester City will not take any disciplinary action against striker, Sergio Aguero for being filmed smoking a shisha pipe.
Footage was posted on Instagram by a friend of Aguero which appeared to show the Argentina striker inhaling from a tube and blowing smoke into a camera lens.
The 30-year-old was captured alongside an 18-year-old lady, puffing on a shisha pipe with Lola Magnin, in the wake of City's 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday.
Lola Magnin posted a picture of Sergio Aguero and her inhaling from a shisha pipe on Instagram
In the clip, posted by the lady identified as Lola Magnin, on Instagram, Aguero is seen inhaling from the pipe. He then exhales the smoke in the direction of the camera lens.
Lola captioned the clip "es de vapor", meaning "it's steam", which suggests the device could have been an electric version of a shisha pipe.
There had been some suggestions that the Premier League champions could fine the 30-year-old over the video.
However, Sky Sports have indicated that Pep Guardiola’s men have no intention of doing so as they are “unconcerned” by the footage.
Guardiola has already praised Aguero for being in the best shape he has seen of him after the knee surgery at the end of last season cured the Argentine of a problem that had been nagging him for several years.
Shisha, sometimes called hookah, is a way of smoking tobacco, usually flavoured, through a bowl and tube. The smoke is cooled as it passes through the water chamber.
Popular in the Middle East and Asia, shisha smoking carries all the same risks as cigarettes, including respiratory and heart diseases and cancer.
In the past, Premier League footballers including Raheem Sterling, Jordan Ibe and Jack Wilshere have been caught on camera smoking shisha.
