Nigeria's Super Falcons recovered from a goal down to record a 5-1 win against  against Hungarian side, Haladas Viktoria at the Király in Szombathely in Hungary on Tuesday evening as part of their preparations for the 2019 Women's World Cup (WWC) in France.

A brace from Barcelona loanee, Asisat Oshoala as well as goals each from Chiwendu Ihezuo, Francisca Ordega and Ogonna Chukwudi helped the Falcons  to a great comeback.

The African and WAFU champions are will play their final friendly game against Slovakia on Sunday, before leaving for Reim, France on Tuesday, June 4 for the tournament.

Nigeria and Slovakia played each other at the Cyprus Women's Cup, and the African queens won that game 4-3.

Coach Thomas Dennerby released his final squad of 23 players on Monday and immediately plunged the team into intensive training towards the the WWC scheduled to take place from June 7 to July 7.

Almost all the players who helped Nigeria win their ninth Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in 2018, have made it in the squad for France.

At the WWC, the Falcons will compete from Group A where they are drawn against hosts, France, Norway and South Korea.

Nigeria's opening game will be against Norway on June 7 and will be hoping to go past the group stages as they compete in their seventh  WWC appearance.

Ahead of the tournament, Nigeria  have created some buzz around their team and preparations thanks to their sponsors,  Amstel Malt.
