PAUL POGBA was brutally brought back down to earth as he was nutmegged by Newcastle star Christian Atsu at St James' Park.
The Manchester United star, 25, has become a new fan favourite at Old Trafford, winning the player of the month award for December.
Pogba got into a tangle on the byline with three Newcastle defenders trying to win the ball off him.
But when they did, Ghanian winger Atsu, 26, went past the World Cup winner by putting the ball through his legs to team-mate Matt Ritchie.
The move prompted massive whoops and cheers from the St James' Park faithful.
Atsu then went on to break into the opponents' box, only to fire the ball across David De Gea's goal and well wide.
Former world record signing Pogba bagged the player of the month award after four goals in three games for new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He had two assists in the 5-1 win at Cardiff, before hitting two against Huddersfield at Old Trafford.
And he had another two against Bournemouth in United's home game on Sunday.
Fans on social media were loving the cheeky manoeuvre, with with fans claiming it has been the highlight of their season.
