Newly-appointed coach of Tema-based Inter Allies, Tony Lokko, has promised to employ his expertise in transforming the club.
Last Monday the club handed over the coaching role to Lokko to help the Tema-based team steer the tide in the upcoming premier league season scheduled to commence on December 28.
Speaking to Graphic Sports in an interview, Coach Lokko was convinced he got the nod due to his technical expertise which he is certain would be relied on in transforming Inter Allies.
Coach Lokko said his technical abilities aided him to secure the job at Inter Allies ahead of other managers and that he can work with the club considering the philosophy they play.
“The coming league season will be very difficult with five of the participating teams to be relegated when the season comes to an end, my plan is to see Inter Allies maintaining a favourable position on the league log for this year’s campaign. We will definitely cross the line”, he noted.
According to the coach, he had been on the radar of the club for some time now as they pursued him to join Inter Allies until now that the effort has materialized so he intend to put his best foot forward in order to response the confident the club has in him.
“I have been chased by the club for the past six years and now that it has materialised, I will offer my best to the club and not to disappoint.
“I have a very good relationship with the Technical Director, Mr Willie Klutse. I will work with him to push the club’s agenda and build a strong team. I don’t undermine people I work with”, he reiterated.
