Alexis Sanchez says his move from Manchester United to Inter Milan has helped him fall in love with football once again.
Sanchez joined United from Arsenal in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan who has also now left for Serie A side Roma, go the other way.
The Chilean had a disappointing spell at United and only managed to score five goals with nine assists in 45 appearances before moving to Inter on loan this season.
In an interview with UEFA.com, Sanchez revealed that he has rediscovered his love for football once again.
"It was a bit like falling in love with football again. I already knew the coach and some players, and I think the club is preparing something nice for the future.
"If I’m not mistaken, Inter haven’t won anything for seven or eight years. Yes, it was a bit like finding love for football, together with the desire to win something with this club."
Sanchez has already scored two goals at Inter who currently enjoy a 100 percent start to the season, and under Antonio Conte, looks as if they can challenge the dominance of Juventus, who have won the league every year since 2012.
