Accra Stadium to host international double-header March 23

The Black Stars will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya

The Accra Sports Stadium will host two mega international matches involving the Black Stars and the Black Meteors on Saturday March 23, the GFA has announced.

The Black Stars will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the final qualifier of the 2019 AFCON, while the Black Meteors will welcome Gabon's Under 23 side for the first leg of their qualifiers for the CAF Under 23 Tournament which also serves as the first stage of qualifiers for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The games, which have been approved by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), will see the Black Meteors in action at 3 pm before the Black Stars face the Kenyans at 6 pm in what promises to be an exciting international double-header.

With international football focused in Kumasi due to Asante Kotoko's engagement in the CAF Confederations Cup, fans in the capital will have the opportunity to enjoy a great soccer fiesta on a single day.
