In Ghana, after the first two cases were confirmed on March 12, 2020, President Nana Addo Akufo Addo on March 15, announced a ban on all public gathering such as festivals, wedding, funerals and other related events to reduce the spread of the virus.

While the world continues to be ravaged by the deadly disease with various sectors, particularly the entertainment industry being the hardest hit, some Ghanaian artistes have found innovative ways of bringing entertainment to their fans.

“Subscribe to my YouTube official account and just sit back at home and enjoy me put smiles on your faces with a live musical experience and full package of entertainment.

“In this pandemic, I want my fans around the globe to have that hope that everything is going to be okay and that I still have them in mind and in my heart. I still want to put smiles on their faces and that’s why I’m putting together the concert which is happening on April 4 in my residence,” Shatta Wale announced on Facebook recently.
