Shalina Healthcare rewards winners of My Voice, My Identity competition

After ten weeks of intense social media engagement, the Shaltoux My Voice, My Identity (MVMI2) campaign came to a close, with the top three winners receiving their prizes at a ceremony hosted by Shalina Healthcare Ghana Limited on Friday, March 15  2025.

The competition, powered by Shaltoux Lozenges, aimed to discover and celebrate Ghana’s most captivating voices.

Following weeks of public voting, the ultimate winner walked away with a cash prize of GH¢8,000, while the first and second runners-up received GH¢5,000 and GH¢3,000, respectively. The remaining seven finalists were also awarded consolation prizes.

“We have grown steadily over the years, and we believe in growing with our community, supporting talents, and creating opportunities,” he said.

He also spoke about Shalina Healthcare’s African roots, explaining that the company, which began in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has expanded to over 34 countries.

“Shalina is an African brand for Africans, and we are determined to reach all 54 nations on the continent before looking elsewhere,” he added.

Mr Singh emphasised the company’s connection with the Ghanaian market, stating that the competition was an opportunity to strengthen that relationship.

“We see this not just as a marketing initiative but as a way to engage young talents and build lasting connections. We hope to continue working with these emerging voices beyond today,” he said.

Marketing Officer for Shalina, Solomon Sackitey, also acknowledged the participants’ efforts throughout the campaign.

“For the past ten weeks, we have interacted with contestants through social media, which has become a powerful tool for engagement. This competition was not just about winning but about showcasing unique voices and connecting with potential brand ambassadors,” he said.

Mr Sackitey praised the dedication and creativity displayed by the participants.

“The energy and passion you brought to this competition were remarkable. You took time off your busy schedules to be part of this journey, and we at Shalina Healthcare do not take that for granted. This is not the end of the competition but the start of something bigger. We want to continue engaging with you and keep this momentum going on social media and beyond,” he added.

The My Voice, My Identity competition was open to participants across the country, with winners determined through social media votes.
