Opoku Sanaa ready with Sound Optics

World-renowned musician, Opoku Sanaa, is set to release his biggest project ever – his maiden album. 

 The album, Sound Optics, which will be released next month, contains 10 songs, all written by Opoku Sanaa.

Sound Optics which features different artistes from Ghana and beyond, contains diverse music genres ranging from the solemn classical ballads, to jumpy Hip tunes, and electronic and Afro-pop infusions to appeal to every kind of music fan who picks up the album. 

Some of the artistes who lent their skills to the album include, Nollywood actress and musician, Stella Damasus and her husband, Daniel Ademinokan, Cwesi Oteng, Joe Mettle, Giovanni and Trigmatic.

And producers who gave their touch to Sound Optics include Kaywa, Koda, Shadrach Yawson (Shaa), Kpabitey Kofi, Junior Boateng, Dave JLoopz and Reynolds the Gentleman.  

Opoku Sanaa is the founder and President of PL Crew.  He is also the Bass player for the Band. He is the Head of Bass Phactory Music Consultancy which organizes the annual Bass Clinic Workshop in Ghana.  

According to Sanaa who is also a music consultant, composer and producer, “the album features different artistes as well as different producers to create that optical difference in its sound.”

Opoku Agyemang Sanaa who has played for and shared stages with a lot of Ghanaian and international musicians, has to his credit a number of singles which have dominated the gospel arena in the likes of I Surrender All, Greatest and God Can.
