According to Okyeame Kwame he will help raise as much funds as he can to support the Paralympic Team.
“It is very inspiring to see the effort the team has put into training to represent the country. Their desire to raise the flag of the nation high despite their physical challenge is motivating. If for nothing, I have experienced firsthand the frustrations of being physically challenged. When my brother, Kunta Kinte was paralyzed it was a difficult experience for him and for the family,” he said.
“Starting Tuesday April 12, 2016 we are rolling out some activities to help raise the funds. Some reps will be in traffic with sealed susu boxes to solicit for whatever little funds will be donated."
"From Sunday April 17, 2016, we will have series of radio marathons. Also, on April 22, 2016 I am having a concert, Music and Wheels, at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill with the support of the Highlife Legend Pozo Hayes, Kwabena Kwabena, Wiyala, Mz Vee, Flow King Stone, XO Senavoe, Ogo and some other guest artists. The gate proceeds go directly to support the team. I promise nothing but magic during the event, patrons should prepare themselves for a surprise.” Okyeame Kwame said.
