No Tribe signs management deal
The award-winning dynamic No Tribe gospel music has signed a management deal with Sing-out Media Limited, an artistes, music production and event management company based in the United Kingdom.
Under the deal, Sing-out Media will be responsible for the management, promotions and other activities of No Tribe in Ghana and abroad.
Led by Nacy and Lord Osei, the No Tribe gospel group made a big impact on the music scene in 2010 with the massive Bohye song from its Three album. It is regarded by many as one of the most exciting live acts in the country.
The group came to prominence around 2007 with The Altar album and is about the only group that appears regularly at both Christian secular programmes.
Sing-out Media Limited organized the Ghana 4 Peace concerts in London, Manchester and Milton Keynes, all in the UK, last year. It has also been organising the International Gathering of Worshipers event in the UK.
In Ghana, Sing-out Media has in the past been involved in some events organized in the country through a sister company called JC Media.
“We see the deal, with Sing-out Media Limited as something that is going to benefit us immensely,” Nacy told Showbiz in a chat. “It would see to the organization of shows for us here and abroad and also set up collaborations with prominent foreign artistes for us.”
Sing-out Media Limited is headed by executive chairman Mr. Kwame Banwell, an entrepreneur and business advisor based in the UK. He is confident No Tribe would gain an overwhelming international following in a reasonably short time.
According to Nacy, No Tribe is in the studio working on a new album scheduled for release around the end of July.
