Music rules at new beer launch
Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Episode were the toast of the night recently when Guinness Ghana Breweries introduced its new Guinness Africa Special onto the Ghanaian market amidst fanfare at the World Trade Centre in Accra.
Backed by Dj Vryusky, the two artistes thrilled the audience with exciting performances.
Shatta Wale’s newest single, Bie Gya, was a hit with the crowd and his older tracks such as Chop Kiss, Mahama Paper and Kakai were all well-received.
Earlier, the Marketing Director of Guinness Ghana, Mr Kweku Sekyi-Cann, said the new brew was made from spices and herbs grown in Africa and had been tailor-made to meet the needs of African consumers.

He explained that about a year ago, a group of creative young Africans were tasked to come up with ideas for the taste, look and branding of a new beer.
Their findings, he added, gave birth to the new product.
“We are proud to set the pace, which is why we are always innovating to meet the ever dynamic needs of our cherished customers,” Mr Sekyi-Cann stated.
