Music, dance at O News recording
Guests at the recording of Pan-African music station Channel O’s O News Live recording last Sunday, were treated to amazing performances by selected Ghanaian musicians and South African hip hop star AKA.
The Ghanaian artistes, including Kaakie, 4x4, Sarkodie, R2Bees and South African award-winning musician AKA, who was performing in Ghana for the first time, got the crowd dancing throughout as they performed back to back their hit songs.
Recorded in Ghana for the first time, O News Live is a celebrity entertainment show which brings viewers the latest in local and international celebrity news plus performances from homegrown and international artistes.
Powered by telecommunications company Vodafone and supported by YFM and iFactory, the event was held at the Silver Star South Terrace.
The show was hosted and presented by Ghana’s Channel O VJ J-Town alongside VJs Flavia from Uganda and Nigeria’s Denrele who interviewed Ghanaian movie stars Yvonne Okoro, Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo and the Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Uche Ofodile, on stage during performance breaks.
