Launch of 4th stellar Western Region Sports Awards Sat

The Western Regional Minister, Honourable Evans Aidoo, will be the Special Guest of Honour at the launch of the fourth edition of Stellar Logistics Western Region Sports Awards at Champs Bar, Stellar Lodge in Takoradi  on Saturday.

According to the organisers of the awards, West Prime Communications Limited (WPCL), the event will  recognise and honour sports personalities, schools and teams  that have distinguished themselves, together with some corporate institutions that have contributed to the development of sports in the Western Region. The launch will also kick-start the activities leading up to the main event.

A statement issued yesterday said the launch would be chaired by Nana Osafo Adjei, the Managing Director of TAQA .

About 100 guests comprising sportsmen, sports administrators, business executives, MPs, MMDCEs, traditional rulers, educationists, the media, sports enthusiasts and the clergy are expected at the launch .

At the launch, Stellar Logistics will be formally introduced as the headline sponsor of this year’s event.
