God spoke to me in a dream —Rev. Blakk Rasta
OUTSPOKEN Reggae musician and broadcaster Blakk Rasta has revealed that God spoke to him not once, not twice but four times in a dream to be divinely inspired to heed the call as a minister of the Word.
Rev. Blakk Rasta, known for criticising Christianity and the Bible on his radio shows, was ordained as a minister of God last month after completing Bible school training at Breakthrough Family Chapel Bible School.
According to him, he had the calling long ago but was not prepared to come out until God spoke to him in a dream.
“God appeared to me in a dream on four different occasions but I still never came out until I went to Sound Engineer Kaywa, who started prophesying to me and telling very deep secrets about my birth and things that only myself and my mother knew of.
“It was then that I became curious and wanted to know the source of the revelations and this led me to Bible school to find more about God,” he told Graphic Showbiz in an interview on Tuesday, November 2.
Empress Neeta: I love media work
Blakk Rasta disclosed that his type of calling was not to go to church or minister to a congregation or establish a place of worship for people to pay tithes, among others, but it is for him to move into the streets to get drug addicts, the hungry, and the poor, among others, to lead them to the throne of God.
Touching on his new place of work, Blakk Rasta described Media General as very accommodating, adding that he believed his employers would give him room to operate.
“I believe in the mission and vision of Media General and I know they will give me an enabling environment to operate. Allowing me the freedom and giving me the zeal to go all out to give my best. I know I will have an interesting stay there,” he said
