Giovani takes over Starr Drive
Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi aka Bola Ray, CEO of EIB Network, officially handed over the reins of the Starrdrive show to Giovani Caleb at a short event at the studios of Starr FM last Thursday.
The day also marked the second year anniversary of the establishment of Starr FM, as well as the end of Bola Ray’s 15 years in radio.
Bola Ray started his journey in radio while a student at the University of Ghana at the campus station, Radio Univers. He joined Accra-based Top Radio and later moved on to The Multimedia Group, where he hosted Drive Time on Joy FM for 11 years.
After quitting the Multimedia Group in 2014, he became the CEO of EIB Network - owners of Starr FM, Live FM, Kasapa FM, GHONE TV, Empire FM, Agoo TV, Agoo FM, Ultimate FM, Abusua FM and the Heritage newspaper.

On his part, Giovani, who has been a stand-in co-host of Starr Drive for the past few months with Anita Erskine, said he was both humbled and excited by the opportunity handed to him.
He acknowledged that Bola Ray was both a boss and a mentor and expressed excitement at the opportunity that has been given him.
“Words can’t simply describe how highly elated I am to see this day. Today, I celebrate one man who’s not only my boss but a big brother and mentor, my great inspiration. One I can confidently say I trust and admire. “My prayer today is that this 15 years anniversary will be the beginning of more successful years ahead sir,” he added.
