Ghanaian musician Bashir Annan, popularly known as Gambo, has earned a nomination for "International Collaboration of the Year" at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) with his hit song Drip Remix.

The song, which features US rapper Jim Jones and Ghanaian artiste Edem, has been recognised for its powerful fusion of cultures and its role in promoting Ghanaian music on the international stage.

The Drip Remix music video, a masterpiece of Afro-hip-hop, was shot in New York and features Jim Jones adorned in kente, symbolising Ghanaian royalty.

This year’s TGMA competition is highly competitive, with top Ghanaian musicians, including Stonebwoy, King Promise, Joe Mettle, and Diana Hamilton, securing nominations across various categories.
