Last year, her school collaborated with Vlisco on a tailoring master-class programme to sharpen the abilities of some specially selected designers.
She often urges young designers to step out of their comfort zones and become trailblazers.
Her students are eager to demonstrate how seriously they have imbibed her encouragement at the exhibition at the Maya Cova Beach Club which starts at 3.00p.m. and the fashion show slated for 5.00p.m.
