Central Music Awards on Boxing Day

Come Monday, December 26 at the Centre for National Culture (CNC) in Cape Coast, Candymania Entertainment will hold the fifth edition of the Central Music Awards (CMA) aimed at celebrating and rewarding musicians from the Central Region.

The event, which has awarded Highlife greats such as Ben Brako and Bessa Semons in the past, will this year honour Ebo Taylor.

Organised by Candymania Entertainment, this year’s edition has 18 categories. They include Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Vocalist of the Year, Best Collaboration, New Artiste of the Year and Highlife Song of the Year,

The rest are Gospel Song of the Year, Best Rapper of the Year, Sound Engineer of the Year, Most Popular Ghanaian Song of the Year and Lifetime Achievement awards.
