Bob James ready to thrill at AICC
Famous American jazz pianist, Bob James, breezed into town last Wednesday, June 22, with his band to headline the third Stanbic Ghana Jazz Festival scheduled for tonight, June 24 to Sunday, June 26 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Jazz fans have been looking forward to the maestro’s arrival ever since it was announced that he would play at this year’s Stanbic festival.
In a brief chat with the keyboard giant when he checked in to his hotel in Accra, he said he was highly impressed with the reception he had received from Ghanaians and called on his fans to be at the concert.
“We have a plethora of songs from the early days to the latest live recordings. I look forward to seeing them all. Thank you to all the fans for being available to see us play. We will all have a great time,” Bob James said.
