Indie Fuse music festival returns

 

The 2013 edition of Indie Fuse Festival will on Saturday December 14 climax at the Alliance Française in Accra with a concert by an array of local and foreign music stars. 

These include FOKN Boys, Efya, Jayso, Shaka Dialla (funk), Meche Korrect (Soul / R & B), African Relaxation Techniques (African Jazz), Rumor, Villy (Afro Fusion), Poetra Asantewa (Spoken Word), Afro Harmony and Kobby Graham.

The festival kicks  off with a free  session for artistes where they can get glimpses into how to thrive in the business with solid advice from industry experts from Ghana, France and the United States at Alliance Francaise on the December 12. 

There will be information on digital marketing, brand development, performance etiquette, music management and international tour networks among other topics. 

Resource persons include Dr. Jason King, Reindorf Owusu, Panji Anoff, Meche Korrect and Samuel Darko. They will share experiences and dialogue with artistes and other stakeholders in the arts industry.

Sabolai Street Party will take place at the Republic Bar on Friday December 13 with a variety of artistes including King Ayisoba, Kojo-Cue, Drunk Beggar Thief, Holla Blak, Fatau Keita, Lyrical Wanzam, Kwame Write, Looney the TKR, DJ K3V, Badboy Stello and Fui Dogg.

Indie Fuse, which has carved a niche for itself over the years, aims at connecting Ghanaian musicians with African diasporic artists to share music, jam together, exchange ideas and collaborate on future projects. 

It is being organised by ACCRA [dot] ALT in partnership with Institute Français (Ghana), Alliance Française (Accra), The Republic Bar + Grill, REDD Kat Pictures, Hello Foods, Multi TV, Fullish Art, Pidgen Music, Skillions Records and Eric Adjetey Anang / Kane Kwei Carpentry Shop.
