Vodafone launches new product to support SMEs
Telecommunication firm, Vodafone Ghana, has launched a new product designed to meet the needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country.
The product, “Vodafone Red Business,” is aimed at giving SMEs the opportunity to enjoy better and suitable telephony experiences.
The offer provides the SMEs lots of minutes to browse the Internet and make calls to Vodafone and other networks, as well as international calls and 50 per cent bonus on any top.
Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Head of Vodafone Business Solution, Ms Angela Mensah-Poku, said the product provided SMEs with suitable and ideal telecommunications solutions that increased productivity, drove efficiency and increased growth.

She said Vodafone was launching Red Business due to insights the company received from hundreds of SMEs who faced a number of ICT service challenges.
She noted that these service challenges affected the growth of the company, productivity and drained them of money they could have invested in their businesses.
Regardless of the income levels of companies, Vodafone has assured customers of versatile packages that will suit their pockets and business needs. “Red Business Classic goes for GH¢100, Red Business Hott is offered to clients at GH¢50, Red Business Rush is available at GH¢20, and GH¢5 is the fee for subscribing to Red Business Weekly”, she said.
She indicated that aside the mainstream Red Business product offers, it aimed at relieving business operators of their day- to-day financial hurdles.
