Vodafone completes a treble at CIMG Awards
Vodafone Ghana took a giant step ahead of its competitors to emerge the “Telecommunications Company of the Year” for the third consecutive time at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards held over the weekend.
The award, which is the telecom industry’s most revered accolade, directly affirms Vodafone’s leadership in creating customer-focused and value-driven products and services, innovative campaigns and unrivalled customer experience on Ghana’s best 3G plus network.
This also makes Vodafone the only telecom company in the country to have bagged the award three times in a row.
Commenting on the award, the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Mr Haris Broumidis, said it was a testament to the company’s leadership in customer service, innovation and strategic marketing insights.

“Our strategy has always been to deliver best network quality, best value and unmatched customer experience”.
“This award is dedicated to the millions of our customers and the thousands of Vodafone employees who made this possible,” he added.
Mr Broumidis said Vodafone, since entering the telecom sector in 2008, had been instrumental in the total transformation of the industry leading the way in innovation, creativity and thought-leadership.
He said the company had also been at the forefront of delivering a level of adaptability and a touch of modernity to what was otherwise a phlegmatic institution.
