uniBank goes on promotion float in Tema
UNIBANK on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, organised a promotion float through the principal streets of Tema, Ashiaman, community 25 and its environs.
The float was to sensitise the bank’s customers, prospective ones and the general public to the on-going “Dash for 200k promotion” which was launched on September 15, 2014.
Speaking to the media during the float, Richard Osei Anane, Head, marketing and communication, said the “Dash for 200k promotion” was to show appreciation to their customers who have been with the bank for the past 13 years, inculcate in them a saving culture and provide the opportunity for customers to win handsome cash prizes and electrical equipment.
With a staff and customer strength of about 200, the float, interlaced with brass band, music and public addresses aboard two branded tipper trucks , took the participants through the major principal streets of Tema, Ashiaman and Kpone environs.
First promotion
Popular radio presenter Seth Kwame Dzokoto of “edziban a” fame was on board to sensitise and inform residents of the benefits of the promotion.
Being the first promotion, Isaac Palomeras, chairman of the promotion committee, disclosed that similar floats will be organised in Kumasi and then in Accra.
The “Dash for 200k promotion” was launched on September 15, 2014 to enable the bank to show appreciation to its existing loyal and prospective customers. It is also aimed at inculcating the saving culture within the society and positioning its customers to look up to winning cash and consolation prizes before the Christmas holidays.
Interested existing and new customers need to deposit GH¢100.00 into any current or savings accounts to enter the promotion and also make a minimum deposit of GHȼ¢500.00 to enter any of the draws and emerge winners.
The first mini draws in the two zones will give away a cash prize of GH¢10,000.00 each plus consolation prizes. It will be held in Kumasi on October 16, 2014. The second mini draw will give away a cash prize of GH¢20,000.00, and it will be hosted in Techiman, with the zonal draw giving away GH¢50,000.00, whilst the ultimate mega-draw will give away GH¢200,000.00 plus fantastic prizes.
The ultimate draw will be held on December 19, 2014 in Accra.
Present at the float were branch managers in the Greater Accra region, Mr Kwabena Asare Owusu, Head, Product Development, amongst others.
