SIC Life pays GH¢2.2m dividend to govt
SIC Life has paid a total of GH¢2.2 million to the Ministry of Finance as dividend for 2013.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIC Life, Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor, in the company of the Managing Director, Mr Aaron Issa Anafure, presented the cheque to the Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr Cassiel Ato Forson.
SIC Life reported a profit after tax of GH¢9.28 million, representing 83 per cent growth over the previous profit.
The dividend to government represents 80 per cent of total dividend payout to shareholders.

Mr Forson commended SIC Life for its impressive growth in the face of stiff competition in the market.
The deputy minister also assured the company of the government’s support in ensuring that the company achieved its mission of “employing a highly motivated and efficient workforce to offer innovative, value-priced life insurance and other financial products while ensuring optimal returns to our shareholders”.
