Samsung releases Galaxy S7 series
Samsung Electronics (SE) has launched its latest series, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, on the Ghanaian market.
The new devices have improved camera quality, water and dust resistance, security against hackers, and even with a bigger battery, charging is still fast.
At the launch in Accra last Friday, the company’s Products Manager (PM), Mr Tetteh Akornor, said the phones were designed to address challenges faced by phone users globally.
“Being the trailblazers in the smartphone industry, we designed these smartphones to break the rules of what smartphone can do, hence the tangling, “rethink what a phone can do, “ he explained.
A screen insurance to fix customers’ damaged screen, Mr Akornor said, had been provided by the company and “the insurance is valid for two damaged repairs phones in a year.
“Pictures and video can also be taken with the devices under water.”
With the features, the PM assured customers of a stress-free lifestyle whenever they came close to a body of water.
In four weeks, accredited Ghanaian journalists were tasked to review the galaxy S7, highlighting the virtual reality and other features.
