MTN Business Fair slated for Oct 14
Telecommunications giant, MTN, will hold a fair for all segments of businesses in the country for them to be better acquainted with its unit, MTN Business, which offers all-round bespoke support to corporate organisations.
The October 14 MTN Business Fair, scheduled for La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, will expose small and large corporations, multinational and small offices to emerging business principles and practices in the global business market.
“The fair will expose businesses to global practices that can be replicated by local businesses to achieve global standards in a cost-effective manner,” a statement from MTN said.
It will also demonstrate to the participants, how MTN Business has been positioned as the total business connectivity partner of choice.

MTN Business currently organises similar fairs in the Western Business and Northern Business districts, and the business fair that will be held in Accra will climax all fairs held across the country by MTN Business.
A statement from MTN said MTN Business was a partner that listened to its customers and in turn utilised feedback to improve its business solutions for them, adding that the company was not only a big player in the voice market but a complete telecom and financial services provider.
The fair has already assembled a team of dedicated staff who will show businesses how technology could be used as an enabler to empower their businesses regardless of the size and industry.
“MTN Business has a wide variety of technologies, products and services that many businesses do not know about. Similarly, many of these organisations are unaware of how these technologies can be used to empower their businesses to maximise productivity to enable and inspire growth and also help in expanding to other geographical areas,” the statement said, adding that the information asymmetry would be levelled.
The MTN Business Fair is aimed at using the MTN Business platform to add value to participants’ businesses in various thematic areas that various speakers will address. In other words, the fair will impart knowledge on how the services could transform participants’ businesses and reduce their operational expenditure.
The fair is also expected to enable other key players in multiple industries who are speakers and facilitators (some of whom have used MTN Business to improve their organisational efficiencies) to present real life cases of how the adoption of technology, solutions and how their businesses have been impacted on their businesses.
