GT Bank opens branch at Makola Shopping Mall
The Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited has opened a new branch at the Makola Shopping Mall in Accra to complement the activities of its existing branches in Accra Central area.
The new branch, opposite the Ghana Law School, would operate normal retail, commercial and SME banking services as well as offer various money transfer services including the bank’s own proprietary Guaranty Trust Money Transfer service (GTMT) for both internal and external remittances within West Africa.
It will also undertake money transfer services such as MoneyGram, Western Union and Vigo and G-Cash among others.
The Managing Director of GTBank, Mr Lekan Sanusi, said at the opening that his outfit was committed to providing professional banking services in the country hence the decision to widen its network.

"The thrust of our market penetration strategy for 2013 and beyond is to bring services even closer to customers and increase our deposit and other liabilities necessary to sustain profits and diversify our customer base," he said.
He said the bank was also aiming at making its services easily accessible to all, given the customer focus strategy that it had adopted over the years. GB
