Graphic begins campus activations ahead of business challenge
As part of Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL)’s effort to raise interest for its maiden Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC), a team from GCGL has begun activations on the campuses of the selected tertiary institutions.
The activations started off at the Wisconsin International University in Accra on February 7, led by the marketing department of GCGL.
Speaking at a brief meeting with students of the school, a Marketing Officer of GCGL, Miss Mercy Annan said that the company’s purpose for this competition was to educate the youth to become entrepreneurs and ultimately help bridge the unemployment gap in the country.
She said the GCGL was collaborating with the Ministry of Business Development to create jobs and train the youth to ride on the back of the private sector through entrepreneurship in the country.

A team lead from the university, Nana Sarpong, called on the leadership of the school to support the team and also provide them with the necessary requirements they needed to emerge as winners of this competition.

The students expressed their interest and willingness to support their team and also thanked the GCGL for involving them in such an innovative and educative competition which would broaden their knowledge.
12 schools
The challenge saw 12 tertiary institutions drawn into groups of two to compete over the next 13 weeks for the ultimate prize.
