Delta Capital appoints new board chairman

Delta Capital, an investment banking firm in Accra has appointed Prof. Edward Marfo-Yiadom as its new Board Chairman.

Prof. Marfo-Yiadom, who is the Dean of the University of Cape Coast Business School, has in-depth insight in business management and entrepreneurship with many years of experience in academia, research and consultancy.

He brings in an impressive track record and extensive network in management and finance needed by Delta Capital as the company embarks on growth strategy within the next three years.

He has been, therefore, tasked to lead the board to provide strategic direction to enable the company to achieve its vision to become the preferred investment banking firm in the country.

The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Capital, Mr Victor Owusu, said the company was extremely delighted about the appointment as Prof. Marfo-Yiadom brings his expertise and extensive experience to the Board.

Prof. Marfo-Yiadom was the Vice Principal of the Cape Coast Polytechnic, visiting lecturer at Valley View University and consultant with Capital Consulting Limited and Business Advisory Centre in Cape Coast.

He has written numerous books, journals and articles on management and finance for the academia and business industry.

He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).

Delta Capital is licensed and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana.

The company undertakes management of institutional and high net wealth funds and also provides corporate finance and advisory services including raising capital for institutions.
