Amenfiman Rural Bank receives international award
The Amenfiman Rural Bank Limited at Wassa Akropong in the Wassa Amenfi East District in the Western Region has been presented with the prestigious Best Enterprises Award in Germany.
The award was presented by the Europe Business Assembly for the bank’s strong position in the market, international ratings, the utilisation of modern management technologies, high staff qualification levels and a successful marketing strategy.
The award was through the initiative of the Europe Business Assembly (EBA), Oxford, an International Community of business leaders and academics.
The Award
The Best Enterprise Award project was established in 2000 to present the best regional companies to European businesses. The main purpose of the Europe Business Assembly is to highlight prominent companies and assist with their promotion and entrance into the EBA community.
Award nominees are carefully selected by the EBA professional research team. Winners are determined through EBA’s ratings research, which includes media, social networks, the internet and open statistic data analysis.
Alexander Asmah
Mr Alexander Asmah, the Chief Executive Officer of the Amenfiman Rural Bank Limited, shared with the gathering the company's achievements to date, as well as its ambitions and goals.
He said despite the difficult current global economic climate, the bank strives to excel in quality each day, creating a competitive advantage in its industry.
Mr Asmah, who received the award on behalf of the bank dedicated it to the shareholders and customers of bank.
“Had it not been the loyalty of our customers and the commitment of shareholders, we would not have been where we are now”, he added emphatically.
According to him, this international recognition means a lot of work needs to be done and so he and his management team will spare no effort to maintain or improve upon the quality of operations he believes will enhance the image of the bank.
