Asamoah Gyan loses mother in car crash
Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan lost his mother on Tuesday afternoon after driving into a pillar at the Teachers' Hall in Accra.

Reports reaching Citifmonline.com have it that madam Cecilia Amoako was rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she died.
According to an eyewitness account, madam Amoako, a teacher, lost control of the car’s steering wheel which led to her death at the hospital.
No official word has come from the Al-Ain striker's family, but the remains of the deceased has been deposited at the Ridge Hospital morgue.
Speaking to Goal.com Ghana, the Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah said he was saddened by the news and advised his captain to remain strong.
“I heard the sad news about the passing of Asamoah Gyan’s mother. It is indeed a very sad day for those of us in football. My heart goes out to the player and the family. I want them to stay strong in these difficult times.”
