Why wear red on the last Friday of every month?

Our rivers have been polluted; our very fertile farmlands destroyed; $7 billion worth of gold smuggled out of Ghana in 2016 alone, how many more lives do we want to crush before we stop this?

You have a role to play. It’s our water, your water...the farms that feed the nation and young lives being destroyed. Diseases keep spreading. There is a grave national catastrophe looming to hit the country should one of the very high voltage power towers collapse now and GRIDCo has to spend a lot of money to prevent this.  

Don’t be on the fence any longer!

This Friday and every last Friday of the month, join Ghana to remind our leaders that Galamsey must be stopped.  

Wear Red. It’s a Red Friday. 

Let’s tell the perpetuators that we are serious and that we all care about the future of our country

Let’s tell the leaders that we are demanding an end to the menace; we want the perpetuators named, shamed and jailed. 

Be patriotic; wear red on Friday the 26th of May 2017.
